Stephen Mace — Campaign Manager & Media Relations Director
Stephen (or ‘Steve’ as he’s known) comes to Team Lewis after several years as an executive director for a Michigan property rights organization. He gained large amounts of legislative and media experience and exposure on the statewide and national stage having represented primarily, but not limited to, state tavern and bar owners (and their workers) fighting for their rights as property owners against burdensome and Constitution infringing legislation and regulations. He has appeared on several radio shows across the state and the country. He has appeared in print and on television news articles and interviews.
Steve has extensive experience with the bills and legislation writing process, and has appeared before committees.
While advocating at the capitol Steve established many relationships on both sides of the traditional aisle.
Steve holds a BA in Political Science.
He remains on the advisory board for the Michigan Bar and Tavern Owners Association and is the co-publisher of the 49th Parallel Press.
Steve has even appeared in a feature on Libertarian ReasonTV.
